The production wine area around the city of Alcamo is characterized for its vineyards in hilly lands.

Alcamo is the heart of the production of the Bianco d’Alcamo, one of first Sicilian wine to have obtained the controlled denomination of origin in far away 1972.

The city is located on the slopes of Monte Bonifato, today natural reserve, where it is possible to restore walking between its paths.
