The territory of Marsala is one of the most famous of the world for its wine productions and is situated in an ideal zone for the exposure to the solar radiation and for the wealth of lands, much to be defined “Zone of the Sun”.

Wine symbol of the territory is the Marsala, the oldest DOC of the Sicily, rich of history and culture. The acknowledgment of the DOC has happened in the 1969. In Marsala there are lots of wine cellars, both historical and of recent constitution, in which it is easy to find them turning for the ancient Lylibeo and its territory.

Besides wine, Marsala is also famous for the naturalistic areas like stagnone of Mozia and salinas.
